Domain Name Trouble
Incident Report for On-Site.com
Resolved
This morning, our team made a change to the DNS for a domain name that is not On-Site.com. DNS (Domain Naming Services) controls which servers are used when you type in a web address. The domain name that was being changed was hosted with the same ISP (Internet Service Provider) that hosts On-Site.com. The change was inadvertently also applied to on-site.com which broke web services for On-Site.com. Because the change was made at the hosting provider, the correction to fix the name lookups may take as long as 72 hours depending on your location in the world and internet provider. Anyone affected can access On-Site via https://cloudfile.com.
